so, whats it all about then

As with all the projects I embark on, Im constantly looking for new ideas to photograph, document and write about.
The “faces of kabul” idea came about whilst I was looking into traveling to countries Ive never been to before and Afghanistan is one of them. Myself and wifey have either traveled, worked or visited all of the other middle eastern countries over the years bar one other so Afghanistan was the natural choice for me. I traveling on my own this time

So, my aim is to photograph, only on film, and document of the people I meet on the streets of Kabul and tell you all a little about them. I’ll need some help, already underway, for this trip when I arrive in Kabul and I been fortunate enough to find “Hamza”. One of Kabuls skilled guides and what I like to call him now as “my fixer”. More about Hamza in a later post as to where to find him if your plannning a trip yourself. He’s the guy to use, believe you me. RD
