the importance of stock selection…

Before I even think of shooting the content for such a project, the importance of stock section for me is key. I like to pre think in advance as to what film stocks would be best suited for such a shoot.

On the colour front, I will always go with Kodak Ektar, my go to colour film stock. It captures the best in colour with a deep and vivid richness to it. On the black and white front, it will always be Double X. A film with such great depth and contrast.
In addition to those I’ll be taking a few rolls of Kodak Gold. I love it on Medium Format but I think of 35mm it will certainly work well for me. All I need to do now is grab the content…..
